The Šar Mountains rise above Popova Shapka in the west of North Macedonia: open faces, long ridges, trees and couloirs, far from mass tourism.

Simple, warm, local.
A small family hotel with sauna and jacuzzi. Double rooms; single room with a supplement. Full board: breakfast, picnic or lunch, dinner and water — alcohol and soft drinks are extra.

Good questions.
What level do I need?
You should ski confidently and autonomously on red and black runs. No previous off-piste experience is required: we adapt the terrain to the group.
Do I have to come for a full week?
No. 7 nights and 6 ski days is our reference format. Shorter or longer stays and custom dates are possible, depending on availability.
What does the CHF 2,250 price include?
Per person, for a group of 8: 7 nights, 6 ski days with the private snowcat, two guides, full board and transfers from Skopje.
Who guides us?
For a standard group, two guides: a local UIMLA guide and a guide from the Organix team.
I'm on my own, or we're two or three. Can we join?
Yes, you can join a compatible group, depending on dates, availability and levels.
Do I need my own freeride equipment?
No. Freeride skis, poles, airbags, transceivers, shovels, probes and touring gear can be rented on site. Boots and helmets are not available for rent.
Which airport do I fly to?
Transfers are organised from Skopje. Other airports are possible on conditions.
How do I book?
Send us an enquiry and we'll talk it through personally. We then send you the registration form. Once your place is confirmed, OrganixEvents invoices you directly, in CHF or EUR.
